Sarcopenia: The Silent Muscle Loss No One Talks About

It is the not-so-subtle side effects of muscle loss that should cause more concern than the actual reduction in muscle size. Making time for muscle building during early adulthood could make a world of difference to how our later years feel.
The silence surrounding sarcopenia does not reflect its lack of importance, but rather how easily we miss changes that unfold slowly over the years. Discussing it much earlier—long before the effects become obvious—is, at the very least, something we should seriously consider.
